HELLO,
my name is Hilary Wilton.
I currently work as a Public
Information Specialist at the Oswego County Health Department (OCHD) through the NYS Public Health
Corps (NYSPHC) Fellowship Program.
At the OCHD, I am actively involved in and oversee a wide range of duties that include but are not limited to;
creating eye-catching and engaging social media content, writing and editing timely press releases, designing
professional-grade printed materials such as brochures and flyers, and conceptualize marketing campaigns
including writing scripts, storyboarding, and creating billboard and bus wrap proofs.
In August 2019 I graduated with a BA degree in Public Relations from SUNY Oswego, with over seven years of experience including event planning for Game Informer Magazine, guest content creator for CynosureGaming.com, social media content creator for Side Group Games and Something Ghoulish Podcast, and a temporary PR Consultant for CNY Community Arts Center in Fulton, NY.
Previously, I am worked at Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) as a Support Services Specialist/Volunteer Coordinator for the Oswego County Meals on Wheels program. There I had a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to; event planning, volunteer outreach and coordinating, website and social media posting, press release updates, and inventory and data input.
