Beginning as a COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the Health Department wanted a positive advertising campaign to encourage Oswego County residents to get their up-to-date COVID-19 bivalent booster. Due to delays in budget approvals and quickly changing information and public opinion on COVID-19, the work completed for the commercial was re-worked into a general immunization commercial that would be used during the 2023-2024 influenza and COVID-19 vaccine season as well as the 2024 back-to-school vaccine season. The goal of the campaign is to use the faces and voices of well-known and well-respected healthcare providers within Oswego County. Health Department employees were also used in two versions of the commercial to give a friendlier face to the Health Department, helping to repair a fractured relationship with the public post-COVID. In the examples below, you will find the script and storyboard I created and the two final results.
