Game Informer Magazine 2014 Proposal
This paper was originally researched and written in 2014, acting as the first step of many for convention planning for Game Informer Magazine. This paper is in no way conclusive of the actual outcome of the actual conventions and was used as an option to present to the magazine to meet their goal of having a fan meet-and-greet. From this proposal, Game Informer Magazine has since partnered with GlitchGaming for the 2015-2017 years, and with 2DCon for 2017. I was responsible for planning Game Informer-specific panels at each convention, write-up and provide information for the conventions' websites, as well as help promote each convention online, answer fan questions concerning the events, and collect feedback for evaluation with the magazine for future events. Part of the promotion for the first convention included appearing of the official Game Informer's Youtube channel for their "Replay Show", meant to inform fans of the first event and garner interest. The first convention with GlitchGaming saw 30 participants, with the following year seeing almost 60 participants. The third year, GlitchGaming saw 18 participants, while that same year, 2DCon saw 30 participants.
